Ascension is seeking a Radiation Therapist for Water Tower Medical Commons in Milwaukee, WI. This part-time, day-shift role calls for precise treatment planning, equipment operation, and rigorous documentation.

The ideal candidate collaborates with physicians, dosimetrists, and care teams to deliver safe, effective therapy while maintaining high data quality. Required ARRT credentials with BLS within 30 days of hire, plus a relevant education path.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month of hire date (AHA or ARC accepted).
• ARRT Radiation Therapy credentialed from ARRT prior to hire date; Radiologic Technologist or Radiation Therapist credentialed from ARRT prior to hire date.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrists.
• Safely operates and maintains radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators.
• Ensures accurate data entry and high-quality image submissions to PACS with correct lead markers and patient history.
• Maintains comprehensive, detailed records of all therapy sessions in compliance with standards and regulations.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Patient Care & Treatment Delivery: Delivers personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrists, accurately positioning patients and selecting precise anatomical and technical parameters.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Safely maintains, operates, and adjusts radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators, while keeping work and procedure areas clean and orderly.
• Quality Assurance & Image Management: Ensures accurate data entry and high-quality image submissions to PACS, complete with correct lead markers, patient history, and technical details.
• Documentation & Regulatory Compliance: Maintains comprehensive, detailed records of all therapy sessions in strict accordance with clinical standards and regulatory agency guidelines.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiation Therapy credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
