Job summary

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a PhD in physics or nuclear engineering.
  • Passion for sensor design.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status, as required to access APL's facilities and networks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop approaches for sensing radiation in high background environments.
  • Run transport simulations, design experiments, collect and analyze data, and develop algorithms.
