Job summary

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a Radiation Oncology Triage RN in Boise for a 0.9 FTE day-shift role. You will triage calls, assess patients of all ages undergoing treatment, and promote a compassionate patient experience while integrating clinical skills in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Qualified candidates have a nursing degree, at least 1 year of RN experience, and current RN licensure with BLS. Oncology experience and OCN certification are a plus, with a magnet-designated program

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree.
• Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure and BLS certification.
• Preferred: Radiation Oncology/Oncology experience, OCN certification and/or strong assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Triage calls and assess patients undergoing treatment in Radiation Oncology.
• Promote a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness.
• Assist in monitoring and caring for CT simulation and radiation procedure patients.
• Cross train to Radiation Oncology primary nursing.
