Job summary

St. Luke’s Cancer Institute in Boise is seeking a Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to float among Treasure Valley sites (Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Fruitland). This full-time (0.9 FTE) position offers day shifts with four 9-hour days, no nights or weekends, and a sign-on bonus for new hires.

Certification pay (OCN) is available; the role combines direct patient care with triage and interprofessional collaboration to support patients and families through cancer treatment.

Qualifications

• RN with valid state licensure and BLS certification.
• Oncology experience preferred; 3 years RN experience acceptable in lieu of oncology background.
• Strong critical thinking and triage skills essential for cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Triage calls and assess patients undergoing treatment.
• Collaborate closely with providers, navigators, pharmacists, and other team members.
• Assist in CT simulation and radiation procedure monitoring.
• Initiate IVs and monitor contrast when covering Boise clinic site.
