Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a registered nurse to provide ambulatory and inpatient care for adults and pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions. The role emphasizes specialized radiation oncology knowledge and a commitment to quality nursing care.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7am–5:30pm, with full-time AM shifts and 4–10 hour shifts; you will coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, maintain certification requirements, and pursue educational opportunities and

Qualifications

• RN licensed or eligible with the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification may be required at certain center.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory and inpatient nursing care to adults and children with hematologic and oncologic diseases.
• Deliver care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement and evaluate.
• Coordinate activities with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
