Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking an experienced ambulatory RN to provide professional care for adults with hematologic and oncologic diseases. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

The position requires an Associate's degree in Nursing with an Alabama RN license; CPR certification is mandatory, and BSN is preferred. ACLS/PALS may be required in the Radiation Oncology Center.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required for Radiation Oncology Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory nursing care to adults with hematologic/oncologic diseases.
• Deliver care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Coordinate activities with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
