Job summary

UAB Medicine seeks an experienced RN to provide ambulatory oncology nursing care for adults with hematologic and oncologic diseases. The role requires oncology/chemotherapy knowledge and strong application of the nursing process.

Two years of nursing experience preferred; Alabama RN license or eligibility is required, CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days. ACLS/PALS may be required for certain positions.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Two years of nursing experience preferred.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as an RN in Alabama with CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional ambulatory nursing care to adult Oncology/Hematology patients.
• Demonstrate oncology/chemotherapy knowledge and skills gained through education and training.
• Coordinate care using the nursing process and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
