Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority seeks a Dosimetrist in Radiation Oncology to develop treatment plans from CT/MRI/PET images and assist with dosimetry operations. The role includes implementing workflow systems, billing processes, and maintaining mold room supplies.

Required: Medical Dosimetry Program completion or CMD certification within 12 months; TOMO Therapy and VMAT planning experience preferred. Full-time, day shift; benefits and relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Medical Dosimetry Program required or current CMD certification accepted in lieu of education.
• Certification in Medical Dosimetry by the MDSB within 12 months required.

Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans from 3D medical images (CT, MRI, PET) involving vital areas of the body with assistance.
• Perform non-planning dosimetry activities such as mold room, implement electronic charting/workflow systems, and ensure proper billing.
• Order and maintain supplies for mold room and in-vivo dosimetry.

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift. Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30am - 5:00pm, no weekends are required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay :

• External hires may be eligible for up to a $5,000 sign on bonus. (pro-rated based on FTE)

We are seeking a Dosimetrist (Radiation Oncology, Medical Dosimetrist) to:

• Develop treatment plans from 3D medical images (CT, MRI, PET) involving vital areas of the body with assistance.
• Perform non-planning dosimetry activities such as; mold room, implement institutional electronic charting and workflow systems, implement billing methods for a high standard for proper and accurate billing, order and maintain supplies for mold room and in-vivo dosimetry.

Qualifications
