Job summary

Eviction Defense Collaborative (EDC) is seeking a RADCo Intake Specialist in San Francisco to be the first point of contact for clients and coordinate rental and legal assistance. The role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.

You will screen applicants, manage communications, and connect eligible individuals to RADCo funding and supportive services while collaborating with the Legal Clinic and community partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant case management or related experience.
• Experience working with diverse populations and sensitive situations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and online calendars; ability to manage appointments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including understanding legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients.
• Provide in-office intake support via phone and email.
• Screen applicants for active Unlawful Detainer cases and connect to services.
• Review applications and coordinate with legal service providers and partners.
• Track case statuses, follow up with past clients, and conduct outreach.
• Issue denial notices and refer clients to additional resources.
• Maintain knowledge of RADCo funding sources to link eligible applicants to services.
• Log all client communications and update intake systems.
• Attend weekly program meetings and support data collection and evaluation.
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
