Job summary

Eviction Defense Collaborative (EDC) in San Francisco is seeking a RADCo Coordinator to administer the Rental Assistance Disbursement Component. The role conducts client interviews, assesses eligibility for SF ERAP, and manages short-term housing plans while coordinating with social workers and tenant attorneys.

You will work in a fast-paced, client-centered team, de-escalate crises, and ensure timely submission of applications.

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years of relevant experience performing case management.
• Experience working with diverse racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience managing online calendars.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including understanding legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize required documentation to assess client eligibility for rental assistance.
• Conduct comprehensive client intake interviews to initiate program participation.
• Submit client applications and provide timely updates regarding status.
• Provide short-term case management to clients awaiting rental assistance approval.
• Collaborate with partner nonprofit organizations to receive referrals and coordinate services.
• Advocate on behalf of tenants in communications with landlords and their legal representatives.
• Conduct follow-up check-ins with tenants after assistance is provided.
• Process rental applications for individuals involved in eviction proceedings to ensure SF ERAP eligibility.
• Collaborate with tenant attorneys to facilitate timely and accurate submissions.
• Submit a minimum of two complete client applications per week for supervisor review.
