Job summary

Eviction Defense Collaborative (EDC) seeks a Triage Specialist in San Francisco for hybrid work. You will be the first point of contact for clients seeking legal and rental assistance, directing them to the right department and coordinating remote intake.

Strong de‑escalation skills and compassion are essential as you manage urgent priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role requires in-person and remote triage, accurate documentation, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Excellent customer service and de-escalation skills are essential.
• Ability to explain services and directions clearly to clients.

Responsibilities

• Triage all clients arriving for services and route to the correct department.
• Manage calls and emails from the Legal Clinic remote intake line and document interactions in Salesforce.
• Determine if clients have appointments and contact appropriate staff.
• Provide referrals and resources for clients not eligible for EDC services.
• Attend meetings and provide clerical support as needed.
