RTX's Receiver/ Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and support radar systems. The role emphasizes modern C++ development, Linux, MATLAB tooling, and close collaboration with hardware and firmware engineers.

You will work onsite 1st shift in Marlborough, contribute to legacy-to-current tech transitions, and help build reliable test and deployment pipelines within a DoD context.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in C++ (C++14/17/20) with OO design and optimization.
• Experience developing in Linux environments and tooling.
• DevOps concepts and tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• MATLAB experience for algorithm development and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in modern C++ development across Linux, MATLAB, DevOps tooling, and Python.
• Develop C/C++ and MATLAB tools in Linux to build and test radar components.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to address challenges and deliver capabilities.
• This 1st shift role is onsite in Marlborough, MA.
