Job summary

RTX is seeking a Material Program Manager in McKinney, TX to own material planning for STaRS programs, manage supplier relations, and drive EAC/EVMS processes. The role requires close collaboration with program offices, engineering, and mission assurance to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The position emphasizes FEOTB planning, forecasting accuracy, risk mitigation, and cost/schedule trade-offs. Onsite presence in McKinney, TX is required with a hybrid work arrangement per RTX policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree with extensive experience in a supply chain role.
• Minimum of 6 years in a supply chain role and 8+ years of relevant experience for senior positions.
• Experience in Material Sales forecasting, Risk & Opportunity management, EACs and EVMS.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Program Manager and cross-functional leaders to ensure AOP, OTD delivery, and material coverage.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute material strategies, plans and supplier risk mitigation.
• Establish and drive material forecasting for assigned program and product line.
• Drive FEOTB front end of business activities related to MRP planning, load, and material releases.
• Collaborate with Program Operations Managers to manage risks and opportunities.
• Engage with Engineering and Supply Chain to drive supplier performance and yield for programs.
• Prepare and present information for weekly/monthly management reviews.
