Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support radar and Navy combat systems, developing and maintaining system requirements and conducting performance analyses. The role involves cross-disciplinary collaboration, system integration, and verification activities as part of the project lifecycle.

Travel to testing sites will be required, and an ACTIVE Secret Clearance is mandatory for eligibility. The role offers growth within a 100% employee-owned company with strong benefits and ESOP

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience with requirements development, specification management, systems integration, and design verification.
• Ability to develop and maintain system requirements and traceability.
• Experience with radar systems or Navy combat systems preferred.
• Experience using engineering models and simulations.
• Experience planning and executing system testing.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools and methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and laboratory tools.
