Job summary

The role involves modeling and analysis with MATLAB, MBSE practices, and collaboration with government engineers across the system lifecycle; travel to testing sites is required, and security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities incl. requirements development, specification management, systems integration, and design verification.
• Ability to develop, analyze, and maintain system requirements, interface documentation, and engineering baselines with traceability.
• Experience with radar systems, sensor technologies, Navy combat systems, or similar defense systems preferred.
• Experience using engineering models and simulations to assess system performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
