Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a SPY-6 Engineer/Scientist Senior to support a Dahlgren, Virginia government customer. The role requires on-site work and an active Secret clearance.

The candidate will engage in systems engineering, modeling, simulation, testing, and radar concept feasibility for shipboard integration. Responsibilities include developing SE plans, performing MBSE tasks, conducting evaluations, and coordinating across government customer teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus six years of engineering work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with ABET accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of Systems Engineering Plans.
• Review requirements from identification through design verification.
• Plan and execute engineering strategies per project plans.
• Report contract execution status and support program reviews.
• Maintain requirements specs, capabilities documents, and baselines; interface control documents for development and verification.
• Develop system/subsystem specification documents and assess compatibility with requirements.
• Assess allocation of HW/SW and flow-down of operational requirements.
• Assist Government program managers with requirements analysis and solution development.
• Baseline and revise requirements documents as needed.
• Plan and perform MBSE-driven modeling and simulations for training, performance prediction, and assessments.
• Support accreditation activities for modeling outputs and tool accuracy.
