Job summary

P17 Solutions seeks a Mid-Senior Radar/Surveillance Engineer to advance radar algorithms, signal processing, and system characterization across the full lifecycle—from design to field testing and documentation.

You will develop and assess DSP methods, support simulation and testing, and contribute to system architecture reconstructions while mentoring junior engineers in a dynamic, government-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in radar algorithm development and/or signal analysis.
• Strong fundamentals in DSP, tracker algorithms, MATLAB, radar simulation/modeling.
• Familiarity with radar waveforms, EW concepts, and radar system architectures.
• Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve radar signal processors and tracking algorithms.
• Research emerging algorithms and assess applicability to program needs.
• Support radar simulation, RF sensor testing, and sensor deployment.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and system specifications; mentor junior engineers.
