Job summary

SimVentions, a 100% employee-owned defense contractor, seeks a senior Systems Engineer to lead radar-focused SE activities through lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, and verification. You will drive modeling, simulation, and performance analyses using MATLAB and related tools.

The role supports radar signal processing efforts, waveform development, clutter management, and EMC, with travel for testing across Moorestown, Wallops, and Navy facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle: requirements, architecture, decomposition, verification, validation, and integration.
• Strong radar systems, sensor technologies, or defense combat systems knowledge; radar performance assessment desired.
• Experience with radar signal processing: waveform development, clutter management, electronic protection, EMC, or software-based radar modeling.
• Ability to use modeling & simulation tools to evaluate system performance and verify design requirements.
• Experience developing test plans, supporting testing, analyzing results, and documenting findings; MATLAB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities from requirements through system integration and verification.
• Develop and maintain system specifications, interface documentation, and engineering baselines.
• Support modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in radar integration, testing, and technical reviews.
• Contribute to radar signal processing efforts including waveform development, clutter management, electronic protection, EMC, and software model development.
• Support test planning, execution, and data analysis using MATLAB and lab equipment.
