Job summary

RTX in Marlborough, MA seeks a Radar Systems Engineer I to join the Surface Radars and Radars team. This onsite role covers the full lifecycle from concept to deployment, with responsibilities in radar processing algorithms, software requirements, data analysis, and collaboration with Systems and Software Engineers.

Up to 20% travel to RTX facilities and customer sites. Qualifications include a Master’s in STEM by start date and the ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM by start date.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts of operations for radar systems.
• Develop radar processing algorithms.
• Develop radar software requirements.
• Perform statistical and numerical analysis of radar data.
• Develop analysis tools to support problem identification and resolution.
• Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions.
• Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers.
