Job summary

RTX APS, within the Systems Engineering Center, is seeking Radar Systems Engineers to design and develop advanced radar and early‑warning sensor systems for the warfighter. You will work with experienced engineers to define architecture, develop requirements, and support the full product lifecycle, including verification and flight activities.

You will perform modeling and analysis using MATLAB, Python, and C++, contribute to DOORS‑based requirements, and participate in MBSE‑driven system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Technology, Engineering or Math by start date.
• Hands‑on testing of electronic equipment in labs.
• Experience in algorithm design, requirements development, software/hardware integration, and configuration management.
• Academic or internship experience in related systems engineering areas.

What You Will Do Join the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) Mission Area within the Systems Engineering Center at Raytheon, where we design and develop advanced radar and early-warning sensor systems for the warfighter. We are seeking Radar Systems Engineers who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex technical problems, and are eager to support innovative sensor and radar programs.

You will work alongside experienced engineers to define system architecture, develop and verify system requirements, perform analysis and modeling, and support integration, testing, and flight activities across the full product lifecycle. Support development, analysis, documentation, and verification of system requirements using DOORS. Generate system CONOPS and system architectures. Assist with radar mode requirement development and system performance assessments. Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using tools such as MATLAB, Python, and C++. Participate in hardware/software integration, troubleshooting, and hands‑on laboratory testing. Support verification, validation, flight test, production, and post‑deployment activities. Perform trade studies, functional/physical analyses, and MBSE‑based system design. Prepare and present technical reports, findings, and briefings to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date. The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD – 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
