Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Integration and Test Engineer in Woburn, MA to support installation, integration, and testing of AN/TPY-2 radar software. The role involves troubleshooting in Linux, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring deployments meet performance requirements.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience, proficiency in C++/Python, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM and 2+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with software development and debugging in C++/Python.
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Support installation, integration, and configuration of radar builds and patches on the AN/TPY-2 system.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and system issues in Linux with multi-disciplinary teams.
Execute detailed test plans to validate new software builds against requirements.
Analyze system performance data to identify improvements to the software baseline.
Collaborate with systems, hardware, and cybersecurity teams to deploy robust radar solutions.
Support on-site deployments and troubleshooting to maintain high operational availability.
Contribute to continuous improvement of integration and testing processes and tools.
