Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Radar Signal Processing Engineer for its Electronic Warfare division, with work in San Diego, CA. You will develop, test, and optimize algorithms for sensors and signals in challenging environments, collaborating with scientists and customers to advance EW capabilities.

You will model and analyze data, contribute to real-world field tests, and support ongoing programs. This role offers growth, training, and exposure to cutting-edge EW research in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required.
• Active Secret clearance and eligible to obtain TS/SCI is preferred.
• 4+ years of radar signal processing experience.
• Fluent with MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink and languages such as C/C++, Java.

Responsibilities

• Develop, model, and test algorithms in MATLAB, Simulink, or C++.
• Analyze results from simulation or real data to identify root causes and trends.
• Develop novel algorithms, performance simulations, and analysis in time series and spectral domains.
• Participate in lab-based and field testing.
• Support marketing and business development initiatives.
• Engage with Customers across multiple projects.
