Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer in Arlington, VA (or San Diego, CA) to advance EW programs. You will develop, test, and optimize radar signal processing algorithms using MATLAB, Simulink, Python, and C/C++. A strong emphasis is on robustness of sensors and signals in complex environments, with potential task leadership opportunities.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).

Qualifications

U.S. citizen and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in EE, physics, CS, math or related field
4+ years of radar signal processing experience
Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Simulink, and C/C++
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

Develop, model, and test algorithms in Matlab, Simulink, or C++
Analyze results from simulation or real data to identify root causes and trends
Develop novel and advanced algorithms, performance simulation, and analysis using simulated and real data
Participate in lab-based and field testing
Support marketing and business development initiatives
Engage in multiple projects, interacting with Customers as well
