Job summary

Leidos in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer to advance radar and EW programs, focusing on robust sensor and signal performance in challenging environments. You will develop and test algorithms in MATLAB, Simulink, and C++, analyze data, and participate in lab and field testing while collaborating with scientists and customers.

Qualified candidates have a BS in EE/Physics/CS/Math, 4+ years radar processing, and the ability to obtain required clearances.

Qualifications

U.S. citizen required.
Active Secret clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI.
Bachelor's degree in EE, Physics, CS, Math or related field.
4+ years of radar signal processing experience.
Proficiency with MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink and languages like C/C++, Java.

Responsibilities

Develop, model, and test algorithms in MATLAB, Simulink, or C++.
Analyze results from simulations or real data to identify root causes and trends.
Develop advanced algorithms and performance simulations using time-series and spectral data.
Participate in lab-based and field testing.
Collaborate with Customers across multiple projects.
