Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer to advance the state of the art in sensors and signals for EW programs in Arlington, VA or San Diego, CA. You will improve robustness of sensors, work with experts, and potentially lead tasks.

Regular tasks include algorithm development in Matlab/Simulink/C++ and field testing. Required: US citizenship, Secret clearance eligibility for TS/SCI, BS in a related field, 4+ years in radar signal processing, and proficiency with MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship; Active Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, CS, Mathematics or related field.
4+ years radar signal processing experience.
Proficiency with MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink; C/C++, Java.

Responsibilities

Develop, model, and test algorithms in Matlab, Simulink, or C++.
Analyze results from simulation or real data to identify root causes and trends.
Develop novel and advanced algorithms, performance simulation, and analysis.
Participate in lab-based and field testing.
Support marketing and business development initiatives.
Engage in multiple projects, interacting with Customers as well.
