Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a highly experienced Sr Principal Flight Test Engineer to lead Radar-focused test efforts across multiple aircraft platforms. You will serve as the technical authority for radar test planning, execution, and data analysis, interfacing with design engineering, maintenance, test operations and the customer.

The role requires a BS in a STEM field with 8+ years of related experience (or MS with 6+ years), active Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in a STEM field and 8+ years of related experience or MS with 6+ years of related experience.
• Active US Government Secret clearance is required (or eligibility).
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance.
• Willingness to overtime, odd hours, and weekends to support test schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Detailed Test Plans (DTPs) and procedures for Radar functional and performance requirements.
• Lead Radar test planning groups across disciplines to align objectives and resources.
• Define test configurations, instrumentation, and data collection for Radar subsystems.
• Review requirements and traceability matrices for completeness and alignment with verification plans.
• Analyze system-level Radar performance and prepare evaluation reports.
