Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Radar Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 to work on radar signal processors, tracking algorithms, and sensor systems. You will help simulate radar systems, compare literature algorithms, and contribute to field-testing RF sensors alongside a team of engineers.

The role requires enrolled undergraduate in Electrical or Computer Engineering (ABET-accredited), US citizenship for DoD clearance, and readiness to relocate to Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering at an ABET-accredited school.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Responsibilities

• Support development of radar signal processors and tracking algorithms.
• Simulate radar systems and field-test RF sensors and systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize algorithms for performance and latency.
