Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Radar Engineer to join a diverse team to create solutions for complex radar-oriented problems. We have offices across the United States, engaging in defense, space, cyber and commercial fields.

You will work on radar signal processors, tracking algorithms, and sensor simulations, with opportunities to lead projects and collaborate with other engineers. Must be a US citizen with Final Secret Clearance; relocation to Huntsville, AL area may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from ABET-accredited school; 2–4 years of relevant experience or Master's with less than 2 years.
• Experience in radar algorithm development and/or radar analysis.
• Willing to lead a team of engineers, peer review new algorithms, oversee tasking and other team-lead activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop radar signal processors and radar tracking algorithms.
• Simulate radar systems and field-test RF sensors and systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve performance and reduce processing latency.
