Job summary
Leidos in Huntsville, AL, is seeking Radar Signal Processing Engineers to advance digital signal processing for radar sensor systems. You will develop DSP algorithms, build high-fidelity models, and help deploy RF sensors in challenging environments.
Ideal candidates have strong math and DSP fundamentals, experience with MATLAB/Python, and a willingness to relocate to North Alabama for a non-remote role. Opportunities include growth into senior technical or project leadership positions.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering or related field; 2–4 years of experience, or MS with related field.
- Strong fundamentals in signals, systems, DSP, tracking, electromagnetics.
- Experience with Matlab, Python or similar for DSP and simulations.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail; eligible for U.S. citizenship and TS clearance; willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL.
- Must be resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate; not remote.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop DSP algorithms for radar systems.
- Model, simulate, and analyze high-fidelity radar RF.
- Integrate and field-test RF sensors and systems.
- Support CONUS/OCONUS deployment of sensor systems.
- Contribute to task planning within larger codebases.
