Job Description:

Eligible for up to $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for a Rad Tech

Location: BHMG - Urgent Care Nicholasville

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant must have a Rad Tech license or LMR

Responsibilities:

1. Assist staff and physicians by collecting pertinent patient information to determine physical and psychological needs, and address health problems.
2. Perform radiographic exams using general equipment.
3. Communicate effectively with patients to assess changes in health status since the last visit, including medications, and record information in EMR.
4. Maintain efficient patient flow through exam and treatment areas.
5. Assist physicians, ARNPs, and nurses with patient care, exams, tests, and procedures.
6. Accurately obtain and record vital signs, reporting abnormal readings.
7. Perform clerical duties such as assembling patient education information, assisting with nutrition and toileting, scheduling, and obtaining insurance authorizations.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience:

• Basic Medical Assistant training or experience
• Rad Tech license or LMR
• BLS certification
• Active AART and KBMIRT certifications
