Eligible for up to $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for a Rad Tech

Location: BHMG - Urgent Care Nicholasville

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant must have a Rad Tech license or LMR
• Active AART and KBMIRT certifications
• BLS certification required
• Basic Medical Assistant training or experience preferred
• New graduates encouraged to apply

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist staff and physicians by collecting pertinent patient information to determine physical and psychological needs, and identify health problems.
2. Perform radiographic exams using general equipment.
3. Function as a member of the healthcare team with responsibilities aligned with training and competencies.
4. Communicate effectively with patients regarding changes in health status, medications, and record updates in EMR.
5. Maintain efficient patient flow in exam and treatment areas.
6. Assist physicians, ARNPs, and nurses with patient care, exams, tests, and procedures.
7. Accurately obtain and record vital signs, reporting abnormal readings appropriately.
8. Perform clerical duties such as assembling patient education materials, assisting with nutrition and toileting, scheduling, and obtaining insurance authorizations.
