Job Description:

Eligible for up to $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for a Rad Tech

Location: BHMG - Urgent Care Nicholasville

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant must have a Rad Tech license or LMR
• Active AART and KBMIRT certifications
• BLS certification required
• Basic Medical Assistant training or experience preferred
• New graduates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities:

1. Assist staff and physicians by collecting pertinent patient information to determine physical and psychological needs, and address health problems.
2. Perform radiographic exams using general equipment.
3. Communicate effectively with patients regarding health status changes, medications, and record information in EMR.
4. Maintain efficient patient flow in exam and treatment areas.
5. Assist physicians, ARNPs, and nurses with patient care, exams, tests, and procedures.
6. Accurately obtain and record vital signs, reporting abnormal readings.
7. Perform clerical duties including patient education, scheduling, and obtaining insurance authorizations.
