Job summary

Trinity Health in Pleasant Hill is seeking a Part-time Rad Tech for evening shifts. You will perform a range of radiology tests, manage EMR procedures, and respond to urgent patient needs under supervision.

The role requires a valid Iowa radiology permit, AMA-approved two-year radiologic technology training, AART certification, and current BLS. Evening 4-hour shifts and varied hours offer flexible part-time engagement.

Qualifications

• Must maintain State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.
• Knowledge of radiographic theory and techniques.
• Completion of AMA approved two-year training in radiologic technology.
• AART certification.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.
• Clinic/Physician office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs of patients and initiate appropriate emergency procedures as needed.
• Follow clinic procedures for EMR management including test results, retrieval, filing, creation, repair, and charging of EMR.
• Apply specialized radiology skills under the direction of a clinic provider in patient care within a clinic setting.
• Perform a variety of routine and skilled radiology tests, diagnostic tests, or procedures for patients of all ages.

We are hiring a Rad Tech! As a Rad Tech, you will:

• Demonstrate the ability to recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs of patients and initiating appropriate emergency procedures as needed

• Follow clinic procedure/protocol for the organization and management of the electronic medical record (i.e. test results, retrieval, filing, creation, repair, charging of electronic medical record)

• Apply specialized radiology skills under the direction of a clinic provider in the care and treatment of patients in a clinic setting

• Perform a variety of routine and skilled radiology tests, diagnostic tests, or procedures to patients of all ages.

• Varied hours

• 4-hour shifts

• Evenings

Requirements :

• Must maintain State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.

• Knowledge of Radiolgraphic theory and techniques, clinic policies and procedures and principles of anatomy.

• Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as would be acquired in a college or technical school (i.e. completion of AMA approved two year training program in radiologic technology and AART certified).

• Clinic/Physician office experience preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.

• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population serve within three (3) months of hire
