Job summary

Iowa-based IHA is hiring a part-time Rad Tech for weekend shifts in Ankeny. You will perform radiology tests, ensure patient safety, and follow clinic EMR procedures under supervision.

Candidates must maintain Iowa radiology permit, possess AMA-approved training and AART certification, and complete BLS and mandatory reporter training within 3 months.

Qualifications

  • Must maintain State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.
  • Knowledge of radiographic theory and techniques, clinic policies and procedures and principles of anatomy.
  • Completion of AMA approved two year training program in radiologic technology and AART certification.
  • Clinic/Physician office experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire

We are hiring a Rad Tech! As a Rad Tech, you will:

  • Perform a variety of routine and skilled radiology tests, diagnostic tests, or procedures to patients of all ages.
Hours
  • 24 hours a week
  • Shifts will typically be 8 hours, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Requirements
  • Must maintain State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.
  • Knowledge of Radiographic theory and techniques, clinic policies and procedures and principles of anatomy.
  • Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as would be acquired in a college or technical school (i.e. completion of AMA approved two year training program in radiologic technology and AART certified).
  • Clinic/Physician office experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population serve within three (3) months of hire
