Job summary

IHA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our clinic team in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. This part-time position offers an evening shift with varied hours and a focus on compassionate, patient-centered radiology services in a community setting.

You will perform radiology procedures, ensure accurate image capture, manage electronic medical records per clinic protocol, and apply radiology skills under a supervising provider. Commitment to safety, documentation, and quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must maintain State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.
• Knowledge of radiographic theory and techniques, clinic policies and anatomy.
• Two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program and AART certification.
• Clinic/Physician office experience preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification or obtained within three months.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs and initiate procedures.

We are hiring a Rad Tech! As a Rad Tech, you will:

• Demonstrate the ability to recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs of patients and initiating appropriate emergency procedures as needed


• Follow clinic procedure/protocol for the organization and management of the electronic medical record (i.e. test results, retrieval, filing, creation, repair, charging of electronic medical record)


• Apply specialized radiology skills under the direction of a clinic provider in the care and treatment of patients in a clinic setting


• Perform a variety of routine and skilled radiology tests, diagnostic tests, or procedures to patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Must maintain State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.


• Knowledge of Radiolgraphic theory and techniques, clinic policies and procedures and principles of anatomy.


• Work requires extensive technical or specialized training such as would be acquired in a college or technical school (i.e. completion of AMA approved two year training program in radiologic technology and AART certified).


• Clinic/Physician office experience preferred.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.


• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population serve within three (3) months of hire
