Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Test Engineering Technician to support and execute complex testing on L11 rack systems and server enclosures. The role involves setting up tests, running diagnostic software, and validating procedures across rack components.

You will read engineering drawings and network topologies, assist with test cables and equipment, and modify Python scripts to streamline data collection. This is a Fri-Sun shift, based in Richardson, TX.

Qualifications

• Two to four years relevant experience in test engineering.
• Diploma from a community college in a related field.
• Familiarity with Linux OS and basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex technical support for testing integrated L11 rack systems and server enclosures.
• Set up and run tests, diagnostic software, and validation procedures on rack components.
• Read rack elevation drawings, cable routing maps, and network topologies.
• Assist in design, setup, and debugging of network test cables and rack-level testing equipment.
• Execute and modify Python scripts to automate rack validation and data collection.
• Deploy firmware updates and test bed software across rack components.
