Job summary

Celestica Inc. seeks a Process/Test Engineering Support 2 to assist in testing and validation of L11 rack systems, servers, and networks. You will set up tests, run diagnostic software, and help automate data collection with Python scripts, while interpreting rack layouts and topologies.

The role requires basic Linux experience, networking knowledge, and hands-on tooling for rack assembly. Education aligns with a 2–3 year college diploma; manufacturing environment presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Provides complex technical support for testing integrated L11 rack systems.
• Sets up tests, diagnostic software, and validation procedures on server/rack units.
• Reads rack elevation drawings, cable routing maps and network topologies.
• Deploys firmware updates and test-bed software across rack components.
• Basic Python scripting to automate test tasks and log parsing.
• Familiarity with Linux OS and command-line for configuration and log analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise rack and server testing with diagnosis and validation.
• Develop and modify basic scripts to automate tests and data collection.
• Assist in documenting rack layouts, wiring diagrams and test results.
