Job summary

SambaNova is seeking a hands-on Rack-level Manufacturing Test Engineer to design, develop, implement test strategies and optimize fully integrated rack systems. The role focuses on end-to-end testing of compute, power, cooling and networking components at the rack level, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to build robust automated test solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.
• 5–7+ years in system- or rack-level manufacturing testing.
• Hands‑on experience with test systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience with automated test development and equipment integration.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize automated test sequences for integrated racks.
• Provision and configure firmware, network and OS deployment at scale.
• Perform rack-level power and thermal validation and margin testing.
• Write and maintain test scripts (Python/Bash/Go) and MES integrations.
• Support NPI and deploy test lines at global CM sites.
