Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Test Engineering Technician to support and execute tests on L11 rack systems and server enclosures. You will read rack layouts, analyze network topologies, and assist in the design of test cables and equipment.

The role involves writing and adjusting Python scripts to automate validation, parsing logs, and collecting data, with firmware updates across rack components as part of the workflow.

Qualifications

• Engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides complex technical support for testing integrated L11 rack systems and fully populated server enclosures.
• Sets up and executes tests, diagnostic software, and validation procedures on complete server and network racks.
• Reads and analyzes rack elevation drawings, cable routing maps, and network topologies.
• Assists in the design, setup, and debugging of network test cables and rack-level testing equipment.
• Executes and modifies basic Python scripts to automate rack validation, parse log files, and streamline data collection.
• Deploys firmware updates and updates test bed software across rack components.
