Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Process/Test Engineering Support 2 to provide complex technical support for testing server enclosures and rack systems on the 2nd shift. The role includes setting up tests, validating procedures, and analyzing topologies.

The candidate will read rack layouts, assist in test cable design, and automate data collection using Python scripts, with exposure to Linux and networking fundamentals. The position supports firmware updates and rack-level validation.

Qualifications

• Two to Four years relevant experience.
• Two or three year community college diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex technical support for testing server enclosures and rack systems.
• Set up and execute tests, diagnostic software, and validation procedures.
• Read and analyze rack elevation drawings, cable routing maps, and network topologies.
• Assist in designing, setting up, and debugging network test cables and rack-level testing equipment.
• Execute and modify basic Python scripts to automate rack validation, parse log files, and streamline data collection.
• Deploy firmware updates and test bed software across rack components.
• Familiarity with Linux OS and basic command-line for system configuration and log analysis.
• Strong knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, switch configuration).
