Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician in Novi, MI to maintain and repair Refrigeration HVAC equipment across Walmart facilities. The role requires hands-on use of HVAC/R skills, hand and power tools, and safe work practices in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will work on-site at multiple Walmart locations in Novi, MI, with shifts that may vary. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training and follow Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
