Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician in Hastings, MN to keep our refrigeration systems running at peak performance. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain rack refrigeration and HVAC equipment across Walmart facilities using hand tools, digital tools, and power tools, ensuring safety and efficiency.

We seek candidates with commercial HVAC/R experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance (minimum)
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience preferred
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification required for refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools
• Utilize the work order system to receive and document repair work orders and support stores
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete all required safety training and follow Walmart safety guidelines
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed
