Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems at local stores. You will apply commercial HVAC skills, use hand tools and digital devices, and work from work orders to keep equipment running.

The role demands experience with large rack systems, EPA refrigerant handling certification, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll contribute to safety and compliance while performing physically demanding tasks at height.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Have a valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely and comply with OSHA and EPA regulations.
