Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment in our local Walmart facilities. You will use commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills with various tools to complete jobs and respond to urgent maintenance needs.

The role requires 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools.
• Use the work order system to receive repairs and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations as per Walmart safety policy and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
