Job summary

RESRG, a joint venture of REHAU Automotive and SRG Global, is seeking a Rack Crew Technician in Morehead, KY location to keep the paint line running safely, efficiently and on schedule. The role involves maintaining and changing racks, loading MIS, following safety practices, and communicating concerns to supervisors.

Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and Word is required, and 5S standards must be upheld. Experience operating a forklift is a plus; high school diploma or GED preferred; lifting up

Responsibilities

Your Job

The High Bake Rack Crew plays a critical role in keeping the paint line running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This team is responsible for maintaining and changing out racks based on the next day’s production schedule, helping ensure quality parts, reliable delivery, and a strong customer focus while creating value for the business.

What you Will do in Your Role

• Prioritize safety, quality, and on-time product delivery in all daily work activities.
• Follow, update, and maintain visual management tools to support department communication and workflow.
• Maintain racks and complete rack changeovers as needed to support the production schedule.
• Load MIS accurately from the schedule to ensure proper system setup and production flow.
• Start up and shut down the system safely and according to established procedures.
• Communicate quality, equipment, or production concerns promptly to the supervisor or superintendent.
• Follow all environmental policies, procedures, work instructions, and requirements applicable to the role, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Report environmental concerns, incidents, and hazards to management immediately when they may impact people, production, or the environment.
• Apply knowledge of quality standards to support compliant, consistent, and customer-focused production.
• Use basic computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, to complete required job tasks.
• Maintain strong 5S standards by keeping the work area sorted, set in order, shined, standardized, and sustained.

• Work scheduled overtime, including short-notice overtime, when needed to support business requirements.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required to perform essential job duties.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but is not required.

  Language skills: Ability to read and write in English. Ability to follow both written and spoken instructions. Ability to communicate with floor techs, supervisors, and managers.

  Mathematical skills: Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations.

  Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
