Responsibilities

• Promotes safety for personnel, guests and horses at the Zia Park Racetrack.
• Provide assistance to the State Veterinarian.
• Responsible for taking urine and blood samples from horses designated by the stewards or commission.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Keep Test Barn and horse barns clean and orderly between races.
