Job summary

Ford Racing in Michigan seeks an experienced Design & Release engineer for exterior components on upcoming models. You will lead design, release, and delivery across exterior commodities and manage cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities include QCWFT, leading suppliers, studio interfaces, and ensuring conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements. BS in Engineering and 3–5+ years in body castings design are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• 3–5+ years in Body Castings Design & Release.
• Experience with CAD/visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, release, and delivery of exterior components for Ford Racing on a new model program.
• Manage QCWFT to support milestones.
• Lead FSS and internal/external resources to deliver programs.
• Interface with design/color/material studios to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions for high-performance vehicles.
