Job summary

Ford Racing is seeking a highly experienced Chassis Engineer to lead the design, release, and delivery of high-performance components for Ford Racing production vehicles. You will coordinate with suppliers, manage QCWFT, and ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes CAE analysis, testing, rapid problem solving, and collaboration with Core Ford engineering to optimize production, quality and cost on evolving high-performance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical / material engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in Chassis Design and Release.
• 5+ years’ experience in Program and/or Unit GPDS deliverables.
• 5+ years’ experience in Data acquisition & analysis tools and methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, release, and delivery of components for Ford Racing production vehicles.
• Manage QCWFT to support program & engineering GPDS milestones.
• Work with Purchasing to source commodities.
• Lead program delivery through various milestones.
• Work with FSS to deliver on time with quality.
• Assure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions including design, CAE analysis, and testing.
• Support issue resolution and change management during prototype builds.
• Interface with Core Ford engineering.
• Support current production, quality and cost optimization.
