Job summary

The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Security and RACF Team, is seeking a Systems Support Tech 1 in Atlanta, GA. responsibilities include provisioning, managing, and troubleshooting user access across RACF-controlled mainframe and other platforms. Telework opportunities may be position-dependent.

Role requires coordinating with Ga-Gateway, RACF, and various state agencies, with a focus on security compliance, audits, and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED and one year of experience including report writing and data collection, tabulation, computation and analysis.
• Associates degree preferred.
• RACF experience desired.
• 3 years of help desk support for end users preferred.
• 3 years of computer systems, internet security, and data privacy experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Excellent communication in person, phone, and email.

Responsibilities

• Provision, manage, and troubleshoot user access for systems, applications, and databases controlled by DHS OIT Security.
• Create RACF IDs for all DHS Mainframe users.
• Provision, reset passwords, and troubleshoot issues for multiple key systems.
• Periodic re-certification of all users (quarterly) for listed systems.
• Identify and remove inactive users (60–90 days).
• Enforce security policies and guidelines to meet state/federal requirements.
• Assist with state and federal audit processes.
• Create and run ad-hoc queries from application data as needed.
