Job summary

LifeGift Organ Donation Center in Houston seeks a Performance Improvement Coordinator to drive clinical and operating performance through lean projects and high-reliability initiatives.

You will work with physicians, nurses, management and others to monitor, report and improve processes using data and project management, contributing to better patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university, and strong academic record or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in healthcare QA/PIP or other appropriate work experience for performance improvement. Preference for experience with Performance Improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Support Life Gift initiatives to improve clinical and operating performance through diverse projects and high-reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, management, client groups and others to develop methods to monitor and report process improvement.
• Assist in writing reports, analyzing data, and creating data displays to support decisions on PI projects.
• Lead plans for PI events and projects, and execute time studies and process observations to inform decisions.
